FUNCTIONS OF OFFICERS

  •   Chairman: Provides leadership and presides over meetings.
  • Secretary: Records minutes, keeps documents, and conducts correspondence.
  •  Treasurer: Manages funds, assets, and keeps financial records.

MEETINGS

  • The Association shall hold general meetings quarterly.
  • The Executive Council shall meet at least once every two (2) months.
  • An Annual General Meeting (AGM) shall be held every year to review activities, finances, and elect officers when due.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

AMENDMENT OF CONSTITUTION

  •  This Constitution may be amended at the Annual General Meeting by a two-thirds (2/3) majority of members present and voting, provided notice of the amendment was given at least 30 days before the meeting.

DISSOLUTION

  • In the event of dissolution of the Association, its assets shall be transferred to another registered non-profit organization with similar objectives, as determined by the members in line with the provisions of the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020 

FINANCE

The funds of the Association shall be derived from:

  • Membership subscriptions and donations.
  • Grants, aids, and sponsorships.
  • Income from projects, programmes, and partnerships.
